Paphiopedilum tonsum album is the striking green form of this species from Borneo. This form has no red pigment in the flowers so they are a bright green. The species is found growing in humus as a terrestrial plant and as an epiphyte. You can learn more about its habitat at Jay’s site.
These are easy to grow and flower. They like moderate light and intermediate temperatures, but they seem quite happy in our bright, hot nursery this summer.
