Description
Paphiopedilum Midnight Special is a cross between (Macabre Illusion x Magically Fred). The goal in this breeding line is to get nearly solid black petals. Some will be solid black (or nearly back), some will be deep burgundy and some may be spotted. The best of these will be simply amazing.
These are easy to grow and bloom and have very attractive foliage. Two of the first few to bloom have been awarded and there will probably be many more to follow.
