Description
Paphiopedilum Mem. Michael Lawless is a primary hybrid of (philippinense x randsii). Paphiopedilum randsii is a notoriously difficult species to grow. It is seldom seen in collections, so its hybrids are almost equally scarce.
We have a very small number of seedlings available as not many of these grew very well. Usually primary hybrids are more vigorous than the parents, but in this case they were not. These are a few of the strongest seedlings that are growing well now. That said, this may not be the best plant for beginners.
