Description
Paphiopedilum sukhakulii is a mottled leaf orchid species from Thailand. These grow in shady, warm conditions and never dry out completely. Paphiopedilum sukhakulii has been an important parent in orchid hybridization. That said, it is a charming species on its own. Modern breeding has produced flowers that are much larger and more colorful than those in the past.
This species will thrive along side other mottled leaf Paphiopedilum. Good water quality is appreciated and the plants do not want to get bone dry. Just follow out cultural tips here and you should have great success.
