Description
Paphiopedilum viniferum is currently classified as a synonym for Paphiopedilum callosum. This is the vinicolor form of the species, with dark burgundy flowers.
The parent of this cross is ‘JAC’ CHM/AOS. This is one of the most important plants in Maudiae Paph breeding, as it is the reason we have vinicolors. This plant is the great, great, great, great grandparent of all the vinicolors we have today!
