Description
Paphiopedilum tigrinum flask…our first release of this species from our stock! This species is notoriously difficult in the lab. The seeds germinate, then die in replates. Our lab managed to get good germination and healthy seedlings replates. In the past we have had no roots in flask. We have a new proprietary replate media that encourages root development. The result is strong seedlings that will adapt quickly when deflasked. We tested some a couple months ago and had 100% survival in community pots.
This is a highly sought after species that commands high prices. This is a great opportunity to grow out a nice group of these for your collection.
