Description
Paphiopedilum daoense, or perhaps more correctly called Paphiopedilum gratrixianum var. daoense, is a species from Southern China and Vietnam. It can be found growing terrestrially or on rocks. Jay’s site has more details.
This is currently considered a variety of gratrixianum. It generally has a more distinct white dorsal and a shorter inflorescence than the type form of the species.
