Description
Paphiopedilum delenatii album seedlings are one of the easiest Paph species to grow. The plants are vigorous and bloom reliably every spring. It is also one of the few Paphiopedilum species that has a fragrance. This is a nice bonus to go with its showy flowers.
This species in native to Vietnam. You can find some details about its natural habitat here. The foliage is very sturdy and is nicely patterned, making it attractive even when it isn’t in bloom. This album form has bright green leaves, as opposed to the red/green leaves of the type form.
Paphiopedilum delenatii grows well with intermediate conditions and moderate light. Just follow the tips we have here for mottled lead species and hybrids and you can’t go wrong!
