Description
This is a very colorful multifloral Paphiopedilum species. It can produce 6 or more flowers per spike which makes for an impressive display. It is similar to the closely related Paphiopedilum lowii but has more purple and bolder spots.
Paphiopedilum haynaldianum is an easy species to grow and bloom. It likes to be warm and bright like most other multiflorals. It can be a little sensitive to cold. This can be overcome by using seedling heat mats or making sure the plants do not have wet media on colder winter nights.
When provided good light and warmth this species will bloom in the spring and summer months. Follow our cultural tips and you can’t go wrong!
