Description
Paphiopedilum dianthum is an unusual multifloral species from China and Vietnam. It produces 3 to 5 striking flowers on tall stems. The flowers have clear white dorsal sepals and wonderful twisted petals. They are relatively uncommon in collections.
This species comes from a habitat with distinct wet and dry seasons due to monsoons. The summer is warm and wet, the winter is cool and dry. Despite this it is relatively easy to grow and bloom.
