Description
Paphiopedilum fowliei album is a miniature species from the Philippines. It grows on limestone in a part of the islands that receives copious amounts of rain. Since it grows on rocks the plant never stands in water but the humidity is always high. You can learn more about the habitat of this species at Jay’s online orchid species encyclopedia.
This species scores high for cuteness. You can grow a mini specimen plant with multiple spikes in a 3″pot. It is not too demanding, requiring moderate light and even moisture. You should repot this species every year. You can learn more about Paph culture on our care page.
